Critical Thinking includes the skills of;
- Interpretation – understanding, explaining, and deriving meaning from data, texts, and other forms of information
- Analysis – breaking down complex information into its constituent parts, identifying claims and relationships in the data
- Evaluation – assessing relevance, credibility, acceptability and probability of conclusions drawn based on source, purpose, arguments and evidence.
- Reasoning – Reviewing information and generating a conclusion from previously evaluated propositions.
- Self- Reflection – Monitoring one's own thinking process to question, review and adjust, confirm or correct the reasoning process and conclusions
